Celtics center Kendrick Perkins is set to make his return within the next week. Perkins has informed Celtics sideline reporter, Greg Dickerson, that he will practice on Tuesday and it is very possible that he will play Wednesday night in Los Angeles on the 5-game West Coast trip. If he doesnt’ play Wednesday, it is very likely that he will play Friday in Los Angeles against the Warriors. Perkins has been healing his plantar fasciitis, which is a nagging foot injury. Let’s hope his return is as soon as planned, the Celtics really need him down low.
