Dee Brown was the last Celtic to win the NBA’s annual Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star weekend. In 1991, Brown wowed the crowd and took home the Slam Dunk trophy. Speaking of the Slam Dunk Contest, wish Celtics forward Gerald Green luck in the 2007 Slam Dunk Contest, which will take place tomorrow night during All-Star Saturday Night in Las Vegas.

Celtics second year forward Gerald Green will be the lone Celtic in a 2007 NBA All-Star Weekend festivity. He will be participating in the 2007 Slam Dunk Contest, a contest that most fans anticipated Green getting invited to. He did say that he’d throw something down that we wouldn’t forget for a long time, so let’s see if the young highflyer can back up his words.
